Both have hard drives and 2400 baud modems, but different floppy disk sizes. I would like to transfer files through their modems. I tried using PC-Remote (gotten through FTP) on both machines and procomm and smartcomm, but to no avail. All of the programs expect to make a phone call, where I am trying to connect the machines directly (without going through the telephone company). I have a copy of PC-Hooker, which is supposed to let you transfer files through serial ports, but I don't have the cable or the free port. I would oike to find a way to use the modems. Any ideas?
