I dunno' about Desqview, but that's eggactly how VM/386 works. If I hit Ctl-Alt-Del (or any recognizable permutation :-) only the foreground virtual machine resets - the others don't even know what happened! If the foreground machine crashes - or goes into some kind of looping paroxysm - I can hot-key to another virtual machine and it's still alive and kicking. kEITHe
