When I try The model 10 is ancient as is the level of AIX that you're using. There's no support for Hercules type graphics. The cheapest non graphics card that you can use is an IBM monochrome card ( or a clone ). I don't think [ but I'm not sure ] that an EGA equivalent is supported either [ I never had one to work with ]. As for USING such a card, that's not a problem - as long as you write your own code to drive it and don't try to use it as a system console.
