The best source for street prices is a Tuesday New York Times.  Any Tuesday
will do.  Recent advertised prices for the T1000SE were in the $1050 to $1150
range.  Read the fine print.  Many places have an 800 number for more info.
Paying with credit cards offers you more protection and faster receipt than
paying with a personal check.
