Hi again. I keep getting questions about the T1000SE/XE (my fault, why did
I open my big mouth :-), so I thought I'd give you the means to get the
answers yourself. Call

That's the toll-free number for Toshiba support. Don't be discouraged if it's
busy, just persevere (an autodialer comes handy); on the other hand, once
you're through, it usually only takes a few minutes to actually get a warm
body to talk to. From my experience, they are quite knowledgeable on standard
issues (data, handling, accessories, etc.); and they seem to actually have
laid their hands on the goods (unusual by my support experiences). Don't expect
them to answer high-techie questions (like: who made your harddrive :-).
