There seem to be several schools of thought here: those with big (>100MB) disks, who back up to 45MB removable HDs, seem to like FastBack; those with several files of the same type that they back up each {month|week|day}, or who backup to tape, seem to like Retrospect; those with small (<100MB) disks, with general backup needs, seem to like Redux. I have a 45MB removable drive, and I'll only be backing up to floppies. So, I'm getting Redux. Thanks to all for your help - I'd list you all by name, but there were about 30 of you! wow...
