  When Quark Xpress reads a Word 4.0 document it cannot handle any
Word 4.0 mathematical formula commands and reads them in as the text
that they are comprised of. Is there any easy way to take formulae
produced in Word 4.0 and import them into Quark Xpress? I have
thought that it would be possible to take a snapshot of the formula
using Capture (or another pixel saving utility), but this would give
too low a resolution for our purposes. The only other option that I
can think of is to print the formulae from Word 4.0 and then scan
the printout at 300dpi into a PICT which can then be placed in the
Quark Xpress document.

  Does anyone out there have any other ideas for how this could be
done?
