Hi, I have a friend I gave some NEW MacPlus simms to get him
up to two megs... His machine froze after moving some files
around and as he did a shut down...
The simms are labeled 'MCM514256AJ10' (reverse side -MCM84256S)
are these 100 ns simms? Seems they are labeled in a non-standard way
?? His machine was purchased in sept 87, and he got the rom upgrade
to fix the 8 meg max ram problem...
Would static zapp cause them to cause a freeze up of his mac?
YIPES! He is afraid that they have been damaged when I pulled them
(I didn't wear a grounding strap - tho I did ground myself on power

supply...
Any help would be appreciated
