Message-ID: <0JRFQYS@xavier.swarthmore.edu> Date: 2 Mar 90 21:16:14 GMT Sender: news@xavier.swarthmore.edu (USENET News System) Organization: Visual Geometry Project, Swarthmore College, PA Lines: 27 Big money is laying on my desk waiting to be burned!! However, I don't wish to be burned, myself. If you were to buy an SE/30 video card today, of the 8-bit variety, which would you get: the micron Xceed at $385 or the Supermac Colorcard at $899? Why? Can any owners of these products comment (especially on compatibility issues, if any)? I'll probably be driving the Apple 13" RGB monitor with it. Also, does anyone know of a discount house which sells the Supermac Card? I find the Xceed carried by Mac(Zone,Warehouse,Connection), though none of them have it in stock, but no one carries the Supermac. In that Supermac doesn't do retail, how do I go about buying one of these devils? Thank you thank you and a thousand blessings. -- -----Nicholas Jackiw [jackiw@cs.swarthmore.edu|jackiw@swarthmr.bitnet]----- "Here is how I built this artificial mine.
