To disable theItem:

	GetDItem(theDialog, theItem, itemType, itemHand, box);
	PenPat(gray);
	PenMode(patBic);
	PaintRect(box);
	PenNormal;

To re-enable theItem:

	GetDItem(theDialog, theItem, itemType, itemHand, box);
	InvalRect(box);
