I'd think NeXT applications would be able to get this one right. You can `fix' it `permanently' by adding the appropriate initialization to the definition of `@start' in /usr/lib/tex/ps/tex.ps . . . Maybe someday someone will read the EPSF specs. I guess that's too much to ask of software developers these days, though.
