Is it possible to setup xdm on a workstation, so that a a user can ask
for a native login shell on the display (probably the console) with out
X?

More explicitly, I want the X server to die, have the users login shell
run on the tty (presumably /dev/console), with xdm going back to nomral
when the login shell exits.
