To X Window System Users:

I am presently writing an application using the Athena X Window Toolkits
as part of my masters thesis at Bucknell University.  I am
interested in receiving any information on the following two topics:
      - A public domain two dimensional plotting package to be used
        with an X window application.
      - How to redisplay a text string when using the Athena Toolkits
        <X11/Text.h>, asciiStringWidgetClass widget and setting the
        XtNstring args.

I would greatly appreciate any information on these areas.
