Dan,

I would offer that xntp has probably survived the "experimental" stage
and that the initial character may stand for "x-tated." Now, continuing
in that vain for a moment, I suppose ntp3.4 might be rated "r," since
I believe the its beta-test label was ever removed.

Now, we gotta talk Dennis into fitting the new combining and local-clock
code so we can finally label these things "pg" (may only be chimed by
prenatal girls).
