It's accurate down to milliseconds (supposedly), so should I use 2**-10 (= 1000Hz)? On the other hand, the driver only grabs the seconds and "guesses" on the milliseconds based on 9600 baud and how many characters there are. So maybe I should be using something less precise? The example in the ntpd doc for the PSTI clock says "-5", so I'm wondering if using "-10" would be over-exaggerating. The machine I will be plugging is a Sun (100Hz = 2**-7 clock). I'm so confused... --Dave
