I was going to say Geri Jewell:

Gene Mitchener is a comedian with a sensory nerve disorder.  He does
sit-down comedy: "You'll notice I'm in a wheelchair tonight.  I thought
I'd slip into something more comfotable.  I used to be in an iron
lung."

The British comedy team Flanders and Swann, popular in the '50s and
still among those in the know, like me.  I think it was Swann who
performed from a wheelchair.  Their two classic recordings were "At the
drop of a hat" and "At the drop of another hat."  Funny stuff!
