I recently installed bnews on nstar (this morning) which replaced
an old version of bnews that was using the /usr/lib/news/history*
files (the new version is using the /usr/lib/news/history.d/0-9
files).  Anyhow - I can't get expire to purge the old articles
(of which there is no history on).    

How does one "rebuild" the history database based on the existing
collection of articles?
