Personally, I believe that it is important that if you are going to join a group, you should want to do it for yourself first, not only to meet women. From past experience I have found that some guys will join something for the sole purpose to meet women, and it shows!! These guys have no interest in the group or whatever they joined, thus indicating to women that they (men) are only there to pick up women. However, if you are a good actor you can pretend to be enjoying yourself and we'll never know the difference. I always find guys more attractive when they enjoy what they are doing. I guess what I am trying to say is not to look 'desperate'. I believe that women are sensitive to this aspect in the male's psyche. Maybe it is because we feel that men are just more eager to have a relationship (sexual) than a friendship. I find that the most interesting guys are those that are not afraid to do things, to join groups (that they are honestly interested in). In short being active is important, it makes you look fun and exciting (with other characteristics). I have been known to start talking to a guy who looks perplexed in a store or somewhere, this type of situation provides an easy way to talk to people. So if you want advice as to where to go to meet girls. Get involved with something that you have always wanted to try, attempt to talk to the girl in front of you in a waiting line (it's always boring waiting in lines), or you could always join FASS ;-). I guess that's all the advice I can give... hope it helped!!! Edwin, shall we bring up the topic of FLIRTING?????? Jo :-)
