Since the subject was brought up, I too would like to know what differences
regulators make, and what one should look for in regulators for good sounding
audio.  Do they make a difference? is it vast? (assuming the device in
question can handle sufficient current, of course).
 
Re the armorall vs. cd discussion, I don't know who is misinterpreting what,
but I must say Keith Johnson does not appear to be an idiot to be written
off.
