I'm looking for ideas and thought that maybe you netters could provide some
helpful ideas.  I'm a student at Purdue University and I need ideas for an
electronic project. (This is for a grade.)
       Requirements: 
          1)  Approx. 80 hours or less to complete.
          2)  No more than 2/3 can be premade or kit. 1/3 must be built
              up from the breadboard level. 
          3)  It would be best as a stand alone project, i.e. capable of
              working by itself or with equipment I own. (not an absolute
              requirement.)

Please send any ideas or parts of ideas that you have to me.
