In one of my C classes, I used K&R and Harbison & Steele. Both have remained within arm's reach throughout my professional career. By my PC at home I have the Turbo C Bible (and when I buy a new copy) Kochan's ANSI C. I have Plum's book (required for a C class), but have not found it very useful.
