We have several experienced programmers here who have to start working in C and possibly C++, and we do not have the money to send all of them to class. Typically, they have 8-10 years programming with Pascal, PL/I, and/or Cobol. I notice Zortech has a video out, and have seen ads for some others. AT&T has videos, but they are not very long, and outrageously expensive (the C tapes run about 5 hours total, and cost $2395.00). Either their tapes are the world's best, or they have an exaggerated opinion of their value.
