Especially from SW-Eng conferences. I would bet that the grunt programmers on a project know the real scoop...I've heard some mighty, ah-hem, interesting things at these conferences that were not exactly true. These "Everthing went Perfect" reports should be taken with a grain of salt...I can't think of anything more humorous than hearing things about projects that you know isn't true...Of course this has never happened to me ;-).
