F83 was used for the simulator, running on an IBM PC. The hardware resources of the 1802 and 1806 were simulated in Forth. A straightforward interface program was designed to allow loading/running/debugging real 1802/6 programs on the PC environment. Eventually, the 1802 FIG-Forth (which is included) was loaded and run on the simulator. Alberto Pasquale, a long-time FIG member in Houston, wrote up this project in Vol.1 No.3 of the ACM SIGForth Newsletter. Contact "P.FRENGER" for SIGForth details.
