I'll be curious to see how the Adobe Actually, the announcement was that IBM will support the Adobe font technology in all of their SAA (Systems Applications Architecture) platforms; so this includes much more than just OS/2. It also includes mainframes, AIX platforms, etc. IBM said that they will support the Royal font format, as well as the Adobe fonts, in their version of OS/2, but they also indicated that the Adobe font technology would be the "default." (The official name for Royal is now True Type, I think.) Apparently there has not yet been a decision made about wether True Type will be supported by IBM on platforms other than OS/2.
