There was a typo in the Objectworks for C++ installation doc. that said
that it needed a Sun with a minimum of 23 Mb. The correct number is 12 Mb.
But it doesn't all go to Objectworks for C++ ...

In fact, I just fired up vanilla version 1.02 (the latest version
shipping) on my Sun3, and "ps axu" shows a resident set size of 4.5 Mb
and a total size of 6.5 Mb.
