ICK! ICK! I agree with Syd 100%: Elm was designed to be easy for the novice to use but not so stupid that an expert wouldn't touch it. I consider this annoying "Feature" of Rnmail to be as good example as any why the "common person" has/will stay as far away from Un*x as they can. It presents you with information that is usefull only to an expert *in some instances*. I don't want to see it, keep it out of my way. As for adding it in, but turning it off, I think this would be an example of "creeping featurism" which elm may (or may not) suffer from already to some extent. And the final argument is: Is anyone volunteering to impliment it? In such a way that I'll never see it?
