It seems as someone is making a character conversion on all files I receive from bitnet sites. E.g. "\" (Backslash) is being converted to "@" (Commercial-at sign), but commercial-at signs are not being converted, so I end up with a file with too many commecial-at signs. This does not bother me, when text files is being sent, but uuencoded files are also garbled, so I can't uudecode them properly. Have anyone heard of this problem before, and is there a solution? (Don't suggest that I don't download or receive uuencoded files :-( Any help will be appreciated. -- Ole Frank Larsen ofl@rci.dk
