Keywords: PC Message-ID: <9438@discus.technion.ac.il> Date: 13 Mar 90 20:12:19 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Reply-To: joel%techunix.bitnet@jade.berkeley.edu (Yossi (Joel) Hoffman) Organization: Technion, Israel Inst. Tech., Haifa Israel Lines: 17 I have an account on a VMS system and on a Unix system, both of which have NET mail facilites, and both of which are long-distance phone calls for me. What I'd like to do is run a program on my PC that will call the mainframe at (say) 2:00am, and get all my mail, and send any I've written locally. That is, I need a local mailer program for my PC that will call the mainframe, login as me, and then use the mailer there for NET mail. It's not really a hard program to hack, but if someone's already done it, all the better. Failing that, does anyone know how to save a mail message in VMS's MAIL facility into a file with the name of MY CHOICE? Thanks in advance.
