 I know that all Amiga 2000 which have the new Agnus (1 meg chip 8372) 
have them set for 1 meg but there was a batch of Amiga 500s that had the
8372 Agnus set for 512K chip ram. This is because the A500 only has 512K
of memory.

 The only way I have been able to reliably find the 8372 set to 512K is 
to open the computer and look.
