My favorite is definately Falcon. F/A-18 and Combat Pilot are also both good combat simulators but the don't have the same feel of realism that you get with Falcon. You really never get in FA-18 or Combat Pilot a dogfight because of medium range missiles. I personally like the dogfighting the best. Combat Pilot has all of the latest weapons and includes weather and night missions ... I enjoyed playing it for a long time (and still due) but if I had to keep just one it would be Falcon. You should check your version of Falcon. V1.0 had almost impossible landing parameters. They fixed this in V1.1 and offered an upgrade free of charge to registered owners. Also Falcon has Operation Counterstrike when you get tired of the missions that come with Falcon. Also the main reason I got bored of FA-18 is that it became very easy after a while, Combat Pilot is getting that way also, But Falcon on Colonel is still not easy and I have had it for over a year and play it often. To answer your question about F-16 Combat Pilot, If you have the money to spend and really love flight sim. I would recommend it. I was happy with it. It makes a nice change from Falcon now and then...
