I will take pointers to Fish disks or even an explanation from one of you. I would like to know what various aspects or characteristics are saved with the actual sample data in an IFF instrument or one-shot file. So far, no one seems to know anything along these lines. Either it is not really possible to save sampled sounds in IFF format (and we've all imagined what we've heard) or all the people who program this stuff or know anything about it are not on USENET. Any and all helpful replies appreciated. 1.RAM DISK:> type baird.sig Baird McIntosh (2nd yr CS/Math major, University of Missouri-Columbia) c503719@umcvmb.missouri.edu <-or-> c503719@umcvmb.bitnet "Every multitasking system needs a talking clock..." -- Andy Finkel
