Either of these compenenets will work fine by themselves. I just picked up Turbo Silver and a 2091 controller for my 2500/20 this weekend, and it exhibits the same problems, so it is not specific to the 2091 and 2630. BTW, Turbo did run properly on my 2500 before installing the 2091 (I was using the 2090A controller). < BTW, I have herd completely unconfirmed rumors that the problem is a simple < as something in the A2091 code writing to Mem Location 0. I don't know if < this is the problem but after booting up I did run a test program and < sure enough Mem location 0 was nonzero. This seems logical, since the GURU reported when Turbo crashes is an address error, with an address of 00000000 as the offending location. This is repeatable in both 68020 and 68000 modes, whether the system is booted from the hard disk or an unmodified Workbench floppy. Is it possible that this will become a 'non-problem' when Commodore upgrades the 2091 ROMs? My dealer told me that there is a ROM upgrade due out in about a month. Please note that this was the first I had heard about any upgrade, so it may be misinformation. < -Jason- < < --------- < Jason Goldberg INTERNET: eaeu079@ORION.OAC.UCI.EDU < BITNET: eaeu079@UCI.BITNET -- Chris (Insert phrase here) Seaman | /--\ crs@cpsc6a.att.com | | | "This is as real as ...!att!cpsc6a!crs | | \ | your so-called 'Life' gets" The Home of the Killer Smiley | \--X__
