'85), a static shock ran along the joystick cable to the joystick/moust port, and zapped it senseless. So two questions: 1) Is there a reasonable reparir place to take it that is not too far from, say the PA Turnpike? 2) Which chip was blown? manufacture chip type/Commodore numbering code. Would it be difficult to replace for someone who knows which end of the soldering iron to hold? Thanks for any help. Bill Nichols Dept. of Physics Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh, PA
