Keywords: bitmap IFF Sun Message-ID: <3403@pikes.Colorado.EDU> Date: 14 Mar 90 02:41:34 GMT References: <1287@mindlink.UUCP> <932@cbmfra.UUCP> Reply-To: bscott@pikes.Colorado.EDU (Ben M Scott) Organization: University of Colorado, Denver Lines: 19 Recently, a new newsgroup appeared (alt.tv.prisoner) and there was posted a Sun bitmap file that purported to be a picture of the Penny Farthing bicycle used as the show's logo/theme/mascot. It seems to be a text file with a bunch of hex numbers, and a size (of the image?) at the top. Is there any kind of program I can use to convert this to IFF or any format readable by Pixmate 1.0? If not, where can I get the specs on it in order to write a text-binary bitmap converter myself and shoehorn it in somewhere (technically, I know C, and I have Lattice 5.05, but I've never really done anything Amiga-specific before so...)? Any help appreciated; Email replies please. . <<<>>> -- _______________________________________________________________________________ | | | Someday, I'm going to make up a clever .sig file like everyone else has... | |_____________________________________________________________________________|
