After browsing through the documentation, modifying the parameters and then doing a full backup of my disk (20 floppies) I ran into something puzzling: one of the new features is the ability to write a directory of the backup to a file. In the parameters file I have both a full AND an abbreviated directory options selected. Well after the backup was complete I found that neither file was created. Questions.... 1) is this a bug or a feature? 2) After this experience I expect that if I had selected Yes to only one it would have worked. Is this true or do I really ned to do something else to cause the directory to be outputted? | Chris Shatara | Internet: shatara@memit.enet.dec.com | | Opinions expressed are | DEC Easynet: memit::shatara | | mine and mine only! | UUCP: ...!decwrl!memit!shatara |
