In the very beginning of their active participation on this net (including setting up the excellent FTP which I _no longer_ have access to! argh!) Apple DTS has pretty much always had the position of help when they can, but do not disclose protected information. No matter what you do or say to them or the folks at Claris, this WILL NOT change because they are under CONTRACTUAL obligation. I empathize with your furvor. My suggestion, though, is to stop sending lengthy replies to DTS as it does no good. Instead, you should inquire as to the best way to make your concerns heard by upper management if you really want to get something done. I have posted numerous letters to them in the past, and eventually you will find that flaming your best friends and/or associates who BASICALLY FEEL THE SAME WAY THAT YOU DO EVEN IF THEY CAN'T LEGALLY ADMIT IT will do nothing more than make them feel unappreciated. I am not ignoring your input, but I am saying that if you are constantly giving crap to DTS it does nothing more than turn them off to participation in this medium. Don't stab your best line of support and/or information in the back, mate.
