Two things.  

1.  Could someone please explain exactly what "Harvard Architecture" is and
how it affects the 65816 (or how it is implemented in a processor)?

2.  You can learn about Apple SingleFile and DoubleFile formats by FTP'ing
to Apple.COM and going in the FTN directory (it is nested in dts I think).
The files you want are 
   FTN.E0.0002.3
   FTN.E0.0001
