Personally, I don't think you should make statements like this without being
willing to name your source.

Could you PLEASE provide some solid evidence on this?  Personally I find the
thought of a ROM 04 GS encouraging, and quite frankly, it has become one of the
major reasons why I haven't seriously considered the thought of moving on to
something else (i.e. something Amiga 2000'ish).  A statement like this begs for
confirmation (or better yet denial)....
