Once the code is tested, it is then transferred to the Portfolio. One hitch. You have to be a registered developer to get the product. That's a shame because the Atari world is famous for its PD and Shareware goodies that are discouraged by limited availability of a development environment. While I understand that DIP has the rights to the documentation and such, it seems to be self-defeating for a manufacturer to limit distribution of info that will promote the writing of software for its computer! In addition, why doesn't Atari issue a file transfer code for the ST to allow ST-Portfolio dialog via the smart parallel interface like it does with the Atari PCs?
