Anyone writing code on the ST (or any computer for that matter) you SHOULD back up your sources VERY frequently. At best once a day (assuming your editing every day) at the worst once a week (same assumption). Even the VAXes (running VMS) here at work get backed up daily and they are MUCH less error prone than the ST.
