I just bought a used 520ST (I love it!) and get most of my software from the net! (Usually terminator!) Downloading a 400K file just to de-arc it so I can read the docs is a pain... My solution put the arc.ttp program in my Unix machine. If someone has already translated Atari "arc" to Unix usable, PLEASE let me know! If not, I would like source code for arc so that my partner & I can make whatever modifications to allow it to run on Unix... THis would save me (& probably lots of others) the hours of downloading files that we can't use. (The best example I have is I downloaded a 200K program that only works on Mono monitors. Of course, I have a color AND I had to download before I could read about this! If this type of program would be useful to anyone OR already exists, let me know. ______________________________________________________# # #__________________ _______________________________________ # # # / ________________ # # # /________ / # # # / / # # # _____________/ / # # # __________________________________________________#_____#_____#______________ David W.
