Can't beat that! Well, I don't really know too much about the VS2000, but I've had experience with Clearpoint (satisfied customer stuff) and have had no problems at all. They are a very reputable firm and not likely to be selling `snake oil' type products. A similar thing holds true for the uVAX II; if you stick in a 16MB board, you lose the 1MB on the cpu board, but get the whole glorious 16MB and at a far lower price that DEC.
