Can't beat that! We have two such 16MB Clearpoint memory boards for our 2 VAXstation 2000 workstations. We are very satisfied both with the product and with Clearpoint. The board is easy to install. It comes with a small booklet describing how. It is a true 16MB memory board. It fits in place of the 2MB/4MB daugther board and simply over-laps with the existing 2MB on the motherboard. Clearpoint has also been very helpful. There support hot-line has been quick and knowledgable about the VAXstation and their Clearpoint products. We have had to call them on 2 occassions. You see depending upon what revision the VAXstation 2000 motherboard is, you may have to install/strap the Clearpoint 16MB board differently. The manual attempts to describe as many situations as possible, but we encounted a VS2000 that had a weird revision level. We called the hotline, and they quickly gave us the instructions for this particular revision. You definitely cannot beat the price. Go for it! Unfortunately we bought out Clearpoint 16MB memory boards about 1 1/2 years ago, so we paid ~$10K cdn (~$8K US). Nevertheless, 16MB definitely gives the old VAXstation 2000 a bit more spunk, and makes the darn thing almost useful!!
