You'll need to set these parameters via the key. It's pretty easy to figure how to change the settings. Use the machine for a while until you're sure things are working properly, then go back into the SETUP menu and type , which saves the setup in non-volatile memory (ie, through a power-cycle). You may find, unfortunately, that some programs will set the port to their own, hard-coded, default. I can think of one comm program which does this; there are probably others.
