Message-ID: <1801@mit-amt.MEDIA.MIT.EDU> Date: 9 Mar 90 11:38:28 GMT Reply-To: mjkobb@media-lab.media.mit.edu (Michael J Kobb) Organization: MIT Media Lab, Cambridge MA Lines: 25 Greetings! I discovered this group just in time to hear of the 48sx. Suffice it to say that I'm working my way through the manuals.... :-) (anybody wanna bu a 28s?) At any rate, with the documentation that came with the machine, there is a sheet which announces the existance of a bulletin board which is free except for the long-distance phone charges to Corvallis, OR (read my address...). If anybody from HP is listening: 1) THANK YOU FOR THIS AWESOME MACHINE!!! 2) Would it be possible to set up an ftp site from which HP-supported software, or whatever will be on that bulletin board, can be gotten? My prime suggestion would be the HP28s -> 48sx transfer software, whatever it is. It would be a real shame to have to pay for such a utility (although I'll be buying the HP -> Mac interface anyway, others might not). Also, what is on the board (I'm not about to call long-distance, unless there's nobody closer who wants to say)? 3) What's the current ROM revision? Is it D, or is there a higher one with no known bugs? Cheers, --Mike
