I've tried and everything works fine until you get to the DUMP: Tape rewinding message and then it just sits there until I eventually get fed up and kill the dump. This occurs using dump on an 835 writing to a 7980 and rdump from a 340 writing to the same device. (Note: /etc/rmt is working fine as I *can* do rdumps to the same device from our MORE/bsd machines.) Any ideas? cheers mark
