Bedford, MA Lines: 13 In-reply-to: charleen@zodiac.ads.com's message of 13 Mar 90 00:13:53 GMT Netfolk: shouldn't this approach work on any and all laptops going on a long trip? 1) Take out the internal battery (so you don't try to charge it). 2) Get a bigger and heavier battery than one would normally want to use, either a fancy gelcel/lead-acid thing or a big pack of nicads or even a disposable lantern battery. 3) Connect it to the laptop where the DC transformer usually plugs in.
