what you want is an AT&T unix-pc.

these were dropped from manufacture several years ago (you know us --
we couldn't market eternal life...) but are still around in resellers
stocks.  i'm not too up-to-date on names or prices (i got mine quite a
while ago ;^>) but they were around $800 for a 1M/20M machine.
ram is expandable to 4M and disks are st412 mfm; 2 drives are
supported with up to 150M each.
they run a flavor of sVr2 with some BSDisms thrown in.

check out the comp.sys.att and unix-pc.* groups; there's a lot of
activity on these machines.
