The only way to stop it is to reboot. If I boot with multifinder it works fine. I am running system 6.0.4 on a Mac II with five megs RAM, PMMU, Orchid macsprint card, 40 meg HD. The multifinder that came with 6.0.4 does this, and so does multifinder 6.1b7. I am running tons of inits, but the problem occurs even when they are all off.
